With On The Job Training (OJT)
Employers can cut the cost of Hiring and
Training for workers in half. OJT
reimburses directly to Employers 50%
Up to 75% of a Trainee’s gross wages for
the duration of the Training period.
OJT is a program of the federal
Workforce Investment Act (WIOA). OJT
Employers use their own system to teach
our Trainees the new skills necessary for
successful Permanent Employment
within their companies.
You - The Employer:






Receive free screening, assessment
and referrals of the applicants.
Make the hiring decision.
Determine job performance and
standards.
Have the right to terminate trainee.
Need not worry about paperwork.
It’s all handled promptly and
efficiently by the OJT
Representative.
With On The Job Training:

You get Pre-Screened Applicants.

A 50% Reimbursement and Up to
75% (depends on the Company’s
size) of the Trainee’s wages during
the Training period.

Prompt monthly payments with a
minimum of paperwork.

Trained and Professional OJT
Representative to assist you through
all phases of the OJT Program.

Combine OJT with other Employer
incentives, such as the Work
Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC).

OJT Programs can be developed for
most skilled and semi-skilled jobs.
If your job opportunity is Permanent and
requires at least four weeks of In-House
Training please call the OJT Workforce
Representative.
The OJT Representative works with you
to determine the length of Training for
each OJT Contract.
Combine OJT With
Customized Classroom
Training:




Classroom training is conducted
according to your specifications.
Classes can be individualized or
group.
Classes can be on-site or through
vendors and educational institutions.
Remember! Graduates of vocational
training can be eligible for OJT
Training.
