Welcome to the Open House Day at KIMEP! We’re showcasing our university with half a day full
of activity including interactive displays, special presentations and information sessions that capture
the spirit and essence of KIMEP. This guide provides a snapshot of all of the activities on offer to
help you learn more about what we do and who we are. You will have the opportunity to meet many
of the outstanding faculty, staff and students who define and create our impressive reputation as one
of the leading universities in the CIS.

After registration you can attend the Information Fair and talk to representatives of each program
personally. We also strongly encourage you to visit the following Presentations and Workshops
General Information Sessions
General information sessions will give a brief overview of the admission process, the preparatory
program, and the housing and financial aid program.
Session # 1
“How to prepare yourself for studies at KIMEP” by Mr. Albert Lang, Dean of the College
of Continuing Education.

requirements, documents required for your application and everything applicants need to know
when applying to KIMEP.

“Financing your degree” by Mrs. Oxana Shegay, Director of the Student Financial

spaces, how to apply for financial aid, the flexible system of payment, and many other things.

“Want to study abroad? International Exchange is the answer” by Mrs. Yuliya

We encourage our students to explore international experiences while they earn their degrees. Visit
this information session and learn about studying abroad while earning credits toward your KIMEP
degree. You can choose from more than 80 partner institutions around the world.

Open House Day for Parents
Information session
“So, my child goes to your university, what should I be thinking about?”
This session is designed for parents. Issues covered include the credit system, international
accreditation, and KIMEP’s faculty. KIMEP’s administration will be happy to answer any questions
you may have.
