Your business has not started if you have not hosted a travel party at your home! This is simply inviting your
prospects into your home to do a presentation of the opportunity and the DreamTrips Life Membership. The key
is to invite as many people as you can and have an expert presenter do the presentation for you.
Why should you do a Travel party?
-Travel parties create leverage. You can expose multiple prospects at a time.
-This type of presentation is also a very comfortable environment for both you and your prospects and helps
take away the pressure for everyone involved.
-Travel Parties are easy to duplicate!
-Most importantly, when one of your prospects gets excited about World Ventures, that excitement will pass
through the group.
How do I do a Travel party?
1. Make a list of local prospects
2. Pick a date about a week from today- evenings and weekends work best
3. Use the Travel Party Script to invite your prospects (4 step invite on our team website)
4. Invite FOUR times the number you want to attend ( 30 invites=8 guests) CALL THESE PEOPLE!
5. Be excited and positive regardless of how many guests show up
Travel Party Etiquette Do’s
1. Have the house ready before the first guest arrives. This includes simple refreshments, seating, paper apps,
computers, pens, income disclosure statements, slideshow & upbeat loudish music.
2. Have EVERYTHING ready for the speaker. This includes tv, laptop set up and hooked up, everything plugged
in. (have water for presenter)
3. Play slideshow and have music going as the guests arrive. Create a fun, welcoming environment!
4. Edify the speaker!!! (Live or DVD)
5. Members should be up front and taking notes. Be excited about the presentation. Guests do as you do, not as
you say!
6. ENERGY, ENERGY, ENERGY!!!!!
7. Testimonials should be 30 SECONDS OR LESS!! (practice this and leave out the “so what’s”)
8. All members help close
9. Have paper apps, income disclosure statements and pens ready to pass out! (Enough for all that are invited.)
10. Ask your prospect to buy! * this is HUGE. You do all the work to get them there and then YOU have to ask
them to BUY. ( are you ready to do this with me, you ready to get started, etc)
11. Announce new members
12. Take pictures! (People die for recognition! Then post on TDI’s Facebook page)

Travel Party Etiquette Don’ts
1. No network marketing talk!
2. No talking or texting during the presentation! (This includes home phone as well)
3. Don’t overdo refreshments!(very SIMPLE chips &dip)
4. Hold your PEE!!!
5. Don’t lose control over your environment!!! -get negative people out.
6. No kids or pets. If you have them, they should be out of the room. Kids and dogs/cats are cute, but they are
distraction. If a guest needs to bring their child, arrange for babysitting at your home during presentation.
7. Don’t beg or try to convince your prospect to join. (all you need to do is ask the closing questions and then be
quiet- DON’T SPEAK- first one speaks loses)
Suggested Presentation Format
Have someone in the business that you edify as the “expert” present to either do a live presentation. When the
presentation is over look at your guest and ask them “are you ready to get started?”. Pass out apps and help
people get started on the spot! Paper apps are great, as there is no delay waiting on a computer, and the
“expert” can enter the apps in the system after the party.
