ICHS Top Ten List
Our special residents who have been here a while and would love to find their forever home with you!
# 1 VEGAS, October 2009 – Vegas is a front-declawed lady with a “catitude”
– but she is a Calico so that explains it!! She does well with some cats, but
being an only cat might be best and she does need a quiet household. Vegas
can be friendly but she is ‘CHOOSY’ about who she gets close to! Vegas was
abandoned in an empty apartment for several weeks prior to coming to ICHS
so it may take a while for her to decide that YOU are worthy of “her highness”!
☺
#2 HORTON December 2009 – Handsome Horton must be an only cat since he
doesn’t get along with other cats – but not to worry - because he’s the only cat
YOU will need! He loves people and is very playful (probably too rough for
young children). Horton has spent most of his 5 years at ICHS so he may need
YOUR patience in helping him adjust to life away from the shelter! The question
remains – why is Horton on the Top Ten List? Give Horton a chance!
#3 KENDRA May 2010 – Kendra got off to a rough start at ICHS! She didn’t
especially like people because she associated people with eye drops – she
needed eye surgery. Since having surgery, her temperament has much
improved – however she can be a bit “feisty” when she needs to go back to her
cage. Away from her cage – Kendra is friendly and affectionate! Kendra does
get along with some cats, but may prefer to be YOUR only kitty!
#4 JACK (aka SMUDGE) August 2010 – Smudge was adopted but sadly
(through no fault of his own), has been returned. Smudge is a friendly 6-7
year old “one-ring circus” – being both a clown and an ‘acrocat’. He loves to
be the center of attention. Now that he’s back, he’s all set to perform for YOU!
#5 MISS KITTY April 2012 – It is hard to believe
that such a delightful kitty would make the Top Ten
List – much less #5!!! Miss Kitty is a young, friendly (although
independent – surprised by that? Hey, she’s a cat!), beautiful, playful lady
who gets along fine with other kitties – what more could YOU possibly ask
for when looking for a kitty? This “all around purrfect” lady is waiting for
YOU to realize what an amazing cat YOU are about to get to fall in love
with!
#6 MING July 12 – Ming is just “Ming” – that’s the best way to describe him. He
kind of does his own thing – friendly one day and independent the next. He seeks
attention until you get him out of his cage and then he has his own agenda –
exploring, playing (depending on his mood) and whatever... Ming may not be
begging for attention 24-7, but for busy “cat people” that can be a plus! Get to
know this handsome gray guy today!

ICHS Top Ten List
Our special residents who have been here a while and would love to find their forever home with you!
#7 BRIDGET October 2012 - Because Bridget came to ICHS as a “semiferal” teenager; she never received the early handling and necessary
socialization that she needed to develop into a loving and lovable kitty.
This beauty is not “unfriendly”, but she prefers that when YOU visit the
kitties in Larry’s Living Room that YOU pay attention to the other cats and
just admire her from afar! She will do fine once she is away from the
shelter, but she will need a quiet home and YOUR patience until she
figures out what she has been missing – that would be YOU!
#8 SWEETIE October 2012 – Sweetie is a shy, young lady.
Sweetie came to ICHS as a kitten but never received the early
socialization that was needed to help her develop into a loving
and trusting kitty! She has come so far but needs YOU to provide
the love, the attention and the home needed to help her become
the “sweetheart” that she obviously was destined to be! Really –
why else would she have been dubbed “Sweetie”? She simply
needs a quiet home and YOU!
#9 TANGO April 13 - Tango has come a long way – she hid under her blankets
for several weeks when first coming to ICHS. She now seeks attention and a
family. She needs a quiet home, continued patience and YOU! Tango has
several buddies at ICHS that she frequently curls up with. She would probably
even be happy to share YOU with one of her “buds”!
#10 POPPER April 13 - Popper is a shy, quiet guy. He has feline friends at the
shelter, so he would love a home with them. He is still a little shy of people, so a
home without boisterous children would be ideal. He is looking for a place that
will allow him the time to adjust, as well as somewhere with ample love to give!
#11 LIMBO May 13 All I want to do is play! I dare you to tire me out first.
Bells and strings drive me crazy-in the best way! When I'm done playing,
I would love a big window to sit and watch the birds and squirrels! I do
have FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but it can't hold me back! My
immune system may be slightly weakened, but if you keep me inside I
can stay very healthy for a long time to come! Come play with me today!!
#12 GREGORY May 13 - Gregory is a surrendered Kitty with a shy
personality. Gentle and independent. Although he can be a "lap-cat
extraordinaire" there are times when he prefers his solitude. Gregory is
FELV & FIV positive. So if you want one cat Gregory is the gentleman for
you. Please note- Must be kept indoors. Can live a normal and healthy life
for years.
