Important Information on FLVS Credit Recovery Courses
Florida Virtual School now offers 12 Credit Recovery courses.
Credit Recovery courses are very different from traditional FLVS courses.
Credit Recovery courses
• are aligned to the goals of the FLDOE course descriptions
• may not replace a student’s grade (dependent on district)
• are not NCAA approved
Students must
• have previously failed the particular course to be eligible
• make at least 10% progress in the course each week
• complete the course in no more than 10 weeks
• attend weekly mandatory live Elluminate sessions
Students will be withdrawn from the course if they fail to meet all of the above requirements.
