• Interned in a Data Analytics Infrastructure team named Rubix and gained exposure to MapReduce and Apache Hadoop and Pig

• Explored common machine learning problems that can be solved through iterative computation algorithms such as ADMM

• Implemented Java Threading in Rubix to enable parallel job execution for independent Hadoop jobs to decrease execution time
