Progress Report Summaries
Progress report summary #2 is due by
Jan. 20. (you may also choose to fill
this out online at www.sitkaschools.org
choose REACH as the school and look
for forms) This should be a summary
of work by your child(ren) for
semester #1. Some folks are using a
letter grade system, others are using
a 4 point rubric and still others are
using Pass/Fail, Outstanding/Satis. or
Below Grade level. You are encouraged
to use what best works for your child.
High school families must submit a %
score for their lessons. High school
students will be issued a final grade
by Connie and after a highly qualified
teacher of record has reviewed their
work. High School students taking a
class from a ‘created’ program will be
required to submit their hours spent
on the class. Remember you need to
include a work sample for each core
curricular area. One idea for projects
that have been completed may be to
include a written summary paragraph
and a photograph.
As always, should you need assistance
with any of our paperwork, we are
available to help you.

Please work hard to keep the
deadlines we publish, working with
over 90 students creates enormous
amounts of paperwork, and tracking 23 folks who have not completed things
becomes a burden. So everything you
can do to complete the paperwork on
schedule saves us a lot of time.
Thanks for understanding
