In addition to the seminars described in this program, a variety of non-classroom learning approaches tailored to the
learner's specific development needs are available to enhance supervisory skill development.
Study Assignments
Study assignment by immediate supervisor with materials relevant to particular
competency need. Materials include on-line learning, books/articles, AMA seminars or
college courses.
Peer Coaching
Assignment of experienced peer as temporary coach. For more guidance in setting up a
process, contact the Professional & Organizational Development Department at 322-4251.
Problem-specific
Consultation
Focused, short-term consultation on supervisory skill development is available by
contacting your Human Resource Consultant.
