November 26-27, 2015
State Polytechnic Museum (at NTUU "KPI") will hold the annual scientific and practical seminar, the
third in a series of informational and training events on the subject of digitizing of historical,
cultural and scientific heritage stored in archives, museums, libraries and private collections.
The objective of these events is to familiarize professionals with advanced international practices and
technologies of digitizing, development and integration of digital collections, access and use methods.
The format: lectures, presentations, trainings, workshops, professional meetings: discussions to find
appropriate technological solutions.
Moderators and spokespersons are the highly experienced experts on digitizing and related areas of
information and communication technologies.
Participants are welcome: the experts and the heads of archives, museums, libraries, publishers, the
owners of private collections, the scientists and everyone wishing to acquire knowledge and skills in
the field of digitizing technologies.
On the third seminar main types of digital content, requirements to digitized content and
metadata quality, rights and licenses for using of digital collections
are scheduled to be considered. Advanced practice of digital content forming and successful
Heritage digitization projects will be showed.
Working languages: Ukrainian, English, Russian.
On completion the participants will receive the Certificate
Terms of participation
Registration fee for listeners is 250 UAH.
Travelling and accommodation costs  at the expense of the participants.
