PRIMARY FUNCTION
Responsible for supporting the Company in its efforts to improve customer satisfaction and
continuous improvement as well as maintaining our TL9000 documented quality assurance
program. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
1. Ensuring the QMS is maintained throughout the organization in
accordance with ISO and TL9000 standards.
2. Monitoring and reporting the performance of the QMS as a basis for
continuous improvement.
3. Acting as a liaison with external entities on matters relating to the QMS.
4. Collaborating with management to formulate and establish company policy
operating procedures and goals.
5. Assisting Engineering and Manufacturing in problem identification,
investigation and resolution.
6. Conferring with vendors to obtain information related to vendor quality
standards as well as presenting reports to management on vendor quality
performance.
7. Delivery of training to Quality Assurance personnel, providing quality
related training for other areas as needed.
8. Participation in both internal and external audits.
9. Participation on cross-functional teams as the quality representative.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelors degree preferably in an
Engineering discipline.
He or she will also have a from two to five years broad work experience in a Quality Assurance
function preferably in the telecommunications industry including exposure to a manufacturing
environment.
The ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, verbally and in writing
while possessing the ability to effectively respond to inquiries or complaints from customers,
regulatory agencies and/or members of the business community.
Excellent working knowledge of personal computers, software programs and office equipment
including systems such as Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
