Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible and accountable for all of ParetoLogic’s
quality assurance activities on our products. The Manager will oversee and evolve the
quality function within our company, including a local team and an offshore team. The
candidate will have at least 5-10+ years’ experience in developing and using appropriate
quality processes in an agile environment, be risk tolerant and capable of analyzing and
communicating risk through all levels of the company. The manager will be influential and
able to demonstrate exceptional collaborative skills with both development and product
management teams in addition to demonstrating strong people leadership skills, coaching,
mentoring and managing through metrics.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Lead the Quality Assurance group to deliver a high standard of formulation,
planning and execution across projects
 Lead the Quality Assurance group to analyze results and deliver ongoing
improvements
 Play a lead role in the development of quality metrics for projects and testing
 Define and manage metrics and KPI’s to meet business performance objectives
 Define and manage QA SLA’s
 Serve as a quality expert representative across teams
 Represent the quality needs and objectives of the business in program
management and project governance
 Manages quality assurance resources to meet the needs of roadmap projects and
technical operational tasks
 Consider and suggest alternative delivery solutions to meet the strategic and
quality objectives of the business

Identify and address relevant quality-related training needs in conjunction with
business development planning
Manage the hiring of QA resources and employee evaluations
Manage existing technical resources of the Quality Assurance group, and lead
ongoing development of new technical resources for quality assurance
Work with all areas of ParetoLogic to increase the quality of company deliverables

 Strong knowledge of the SDLC (including both waterfall and agile development)
and QA methodologies
 Strong breadth of knowledge in all facets of web and application testing including automated testing, system testing, regression testing, unit testing, etc
 Solid understanding of Ecommerce workflows
 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
 Ability to make decisions and delegate work in fast-paced, changing business
environments
 Practical project management skills
 Strong human resource management skills and process knowledge
 Able to effectively gather and analyze information to drive appropriate and
innovative improvements
 Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and common Windows software
Qualification and Work Experience:
 A bachelor degree (or higher) in Business and/or Computer Science and/or
Information Systems
 2 or more years of Quality Assurance Management experience, 7 or more years
of overall Quality Assurance experience
 Solid practical experience of executing software testing
 Experience of leading large sized Quality Assurance teams
 Experience managing leaders
 Experience managing contractor test resource on projects
 Experience managing out-sourced test resource on projects
 Experience of implementing automated testing solutions
