Charles Pierre Chabert of Guadeloupe, married on 1 November 1739, on St.
Eustatius, Lucie Elisabeth Audain [Oudeijn], who was born in Philadelphia, the
daughter of Andrew Oudejin/Audain. 1
He was dead by January 1745, when she remarried. 2

was living on St. Eustatius, for whom Banns were issued on 15 September 1759, married
on 16 September 1750 on St. Eustatius, to Elisabeth Blake, was aged 20 and was born
and was living on St. Eustatius. 3
They stood at a marriage, registered on 20/28 August 1768 on St. Eustatius for his
mother, Lucie Elisabeth Audain, who married for the third time, Jacques Texier, born in
Bergerac. 4
------------Joseph Chabert was born in Languedoc and was registered to be married on St.
Eustatius on 18 June 1768/1769, to unknown, widow of unknown True. 5

She was married on 31 May 1809 in the Christiansted Anglican Church to Henry
Adams, who was a Captain in the British 96th Regiment. 6

from Christiansted, on 27 April 1810, destined for England. 7
-------------Louise de la Vasseliere Chabert was born on 25 November 1790 and baptized in
the St. Croix Dutch Reformed Church on 13 January 1792.
He had a relationship with Sarah Louisa Pogue [Payne/Poggy], who was born on
St. Croix in about 1804 and baptized in the Anglican Church8 and was classified as a
mustice.
He died in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1835.
In 1841, she was living in her own home at 3 New Street, Christiansted,
unmarried and head of family. 9
