coaches, and players. (Scotty for the local Youth Games teams that we sponsor,let's do
this; Their total cost will be $350.00 which will include the AAU Membership Cards.
Hotel: The Birmingham Sheraton will be the Headquarter Hotel; the rate is $114.00
We are finalizing rates and accommodations at several downtown hotels;
Hampton Inn Tutwiler, Courtyard UAB, Springhill Suites UAB and Residence Inn UAB.
There will be website developed for this event within the next week.

RULES:
2014 - 2015 USA SWIMMING RULES WILL GOVERN THE MEET
AGE:
8 - U, 9 - 10, 11 - 12, 13 - 14, 15 - 18. SWIMMER’S AGE ON THE
DAY OF MEET WILL DETERMINE THE AGE FOR THE MEET.
ENTRY
PROCEDURES:
Each team swimmer may enter a maximum of six (6) individual
events and two (2) relays. Each unattached swimmer may enter all
individual events - no relays. Entries will open for all teams on
Monday, May 4, 2015 until Tuesday, June 9, 2015. All Late entries
may be accepted until Tuesday, June 9, 2015. ALL ENTRIES, FEES,
AND WAIVER FORMS MUST BE RECEIVED TO BE AN
ACCEPTABLE TEAM OR INDIVIDUAL ENTRY. EMAIL
CONFIRMATION WILL BE SENT TO CONFIRM YOUR ENTRY.

AWARDS:
Medals will be awarded to the top three (3) individuals and the top three (3) relay teams
in each event of each age division.
IMPLEMENT WEIGH-IN: Saturday July 15
EVENT CHECK-IN:
There will be separate check-in areas for Running and Field events. Athletes must
check in at these designated areas 45 minutes prior to the event's scheduled starting
time. All athletes will be required to remain in the designated warm-up areas after
checking in.
COMPETITION BIB NUMBERS:
All competitors must wear their assigned bib numbers during competition and on the
front on their jerseys only. If an athlete loses the bib number, a replacement can be
purchased for a fee of five dollars. Bib numbers will be distributed to athletes by the
coached in the coaches package or in the unattached athletes individual package.
Relay team members must be uniformed in competition or the relay team will be
disqualified
EVENT RESULTS:
During competition, event results will be posted in a designated area at the track
stadium. In addition, event results will be posted on coacho.com.
PROTESTS:
There will be a $20 fee for all protests. Protests must be submitted to the Protest
Referee at once and not later than 30 minutes after a result has been announced. The
protest fee will be refunded if the protest is upheld.
RULES – CONDUCT & FACILITY:
1. Competitors must compete in the division determined by the competitor’s
year of birth.
2. All others age groups may compete in four events including relays. There
will be no "moving up" in any events, including relays.
3. Time schedules are subject to change. Any schedule changes will be
announced and posted.

1. The bowling competition shall be governed by the rules of the USBC (United States
Bowling Congress) for ten-pin bowling,
unless otherwise stated in these rules and regulations.
2. The Tournament Director shall make all final decisions concerning disputes and
conduct of the Tournament.
3. Eligible bowlers must be current USBC Youth Bowlers as of July 19, 2015.
4. The competition will be divided into four coed average divisions, as follows:
Division 1: 120 and Under
Division 2: 121–150
Division 3: 151–179
Division 4: 180 and Over
5. Bowlers will use their highest 2014-2015 certified USBC book average or USBC
sanctioned league average of twelve games
or more as of July 19, 2015 whichever is higher. If a bowler does not have either of
the above averages, the bowler will
compete in Division 4.
6. The tournament will be held at Brunswick Riverview Lanes and will consist of 3
rounds of scratch competition (see below).
7. Bowlers must arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of each round of
competition.
8. The Qualifying Round will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 26, 2015. The
Qualifying Round will consist of six games with
bowlers moving one pair of lanes to the right after each game. The top six bowlers from
each division will advance to the
Semi-Final Round.
9. The Semi-Final Round will be held at 9:00 AM on Sunday, July 27, 2015. The SemiFinal Round will consist of six games of
match play competition, including five matches between each semi-finalist and one
position round match. A 30 pin bonus is
awarded to the winner of each match with a 15 pin bonus awarded for a tie. Scores from
the Qualifying Round will carry over
into the Semi-Final Round. The top three bowlers from each division will advance to the
Final Round.
10. The Final Round will immediately follow the Semi-Final Round on Sunday, July 27,
2015. The Final Round will be a stepladder
roll-off with seeds determined by final positions in the Semi-Final Round.
11. Ties for any position determining if a bowler will continue in the competition will be
broken by a ninth and tenth frame roll-off.
12. A $100 scholarship is guaranteed to each division champion, provided there are at
least eight bowlers within that division.
Otherwise, the winner will receive a $50 scholarship. Additional scholarships may be
awarded according to the number of
entries per division.
13. Flash photography is prohibited during the Tournament competition so as not to
distract bowlers.
14. No food, beverages or smoking will be allowed in the playing area.
15. Bowler’s accessories, such as: rosin, powder or any other substances may not be
used in the settee area. Such substances may,
however, be utilized behind the playing area, so as not to interfere with others
competing in this Tournament. Substances may
not be applied to the sole of bowling shoes. At no time will silicone be permitted. All
bowlers must abide by house rules
regarding substances.
16. Conduct derogatory to that of a sportsman in this Tournament will not be
tolerated. Any infraction as to attitude, vulgarity
or the like, by any participant or guest, will be brought to the attention of the Tournament
Director for action.
17. Applications must include average verification and entry fee (check or cash).
Complete applications must be postmarked by the
deadline of July 19, 2015. Applications postmarked after July 19, 2014 will still be
accepted provided a $5 late fee is paid
prior to the competition. Walk-In entries will be accepted until one hour prior to the
beginning of competition. Walk-In entries
will also be charged the $5 late fee. All checks should be made payable to the US
Youth Games.
