PURPOSE OF ONE-ON-ONE
To serve as a time that two people can connect with a business purpose. This time is built to further the spirit of
community and promote discussion, planning, and leadership development between individuals.
GUIDELINES FOR ONE-ON-ONES

All guidelines are subject to change at the discretion of Finance Board, approved by Senate.
Meetings with food classified as “refreshments” or “snacks” and will total no more than $5 per person. An
exception may be made for the ASSP Vice Presidents where one-on-ones may total no more than $7.50 per
person and ASSP President where one-on-ones may total no more than $10 per person.
One-on-One budgets are recommended to the Allocation Board Spring Budgeting Process and may not exceed
more than 25% of the individual’s overall budget. The only exception is the ASSP President whose One-on-One
budget cannot exceed 40% of their overall budget.
Every One-on-One must have a legitimate business purpose that pertains to the purpose and mission of the
organization.
Money may be spent on One-on-Ones four times per quarter, per person overseen. (i.e. Vice President of
Finance may have as many One-on-Ones as they want with the ASSP Treasurer, but is only allowed to use
designated funds four times a quarter on the One-on-Ones.)
ASSP Treasurer and Vice President of Finance will approve up to the allowed amounts stated within these
guidelines.
Food and Meals
(a) Costs for events or meetings with food classified as "refreshments" or "snacks" will total no more than
$5 per person.
(b) Meal-centered events costing more than $1,000 total require a revenue line. An exception can be made
for STUB events.
(c) Meal-centered events costing more than $10 per person require a revenue line.
(d) Finance Board may propose a modified revenue line for meal-centered events.
(e) The ASSP contribution for meal-centered events will not exceed $15 per person.
** Special Notes from ASSP Finances**
(1) We strive to allocate funds to equitably serve the entire ASSP community.
(2) We strive to use funds responsibly as they come from ASSP student activity fees.
(3) All expenses must include applicable sales tax.
