Instructions on Exchange Students
Studying at Sino-British College (SBC)
*You may pay tuition if you choose courses from SBC.
一、Registration Date
1. Exchange students must complete the registration 1 week before SBC courses start. On
Registration day, exchange students are required to register and submit their personal
information, contact method to Dual-degree Office.
二、Course Selection
1. Course selection for exchange students should strictly abide by the current semester course
arrangements for Gaokao students of 4 program, including Industrial Electronics and Control
Engineering (Engineering-EEE), Manufacturing Systems Engineering (Engineering-ME), Events
Management (Business-EM) and Business Management (Business-BM).
2. The following stipulation must be followed when exchange students select their courses: the
selected courses should be the same program under the same grade. Otherwise the
selection would be regarded as invalid.
三、First-time Selection Date
1. The deadline for exchange students to select their courses would be closed at 1 week before
SBC courses start.
2. If exchange students still have not decided what courses to be selected when SBC courses
had started, they should be responsible for consequence of absence caused by this.
3. The Final selection must in line with the Course List made by the International Affairs Office
of USST.
四、The Change Time for Course Selection
1. The only permitted time for course selection change is 2 weeks in advance of the selected
courses start. Afterwards, any application would not be accepted.
五、Regulation of Course Management and Assessment
1. Exchange students must strictly observe the SBC Attendance Regulations. They should report
to their lecturers and tutors if there are some special excuses and be responsible for the bad
effects caused by their absence.
2. Exchange students should observe to the regulation of examination in SBC. If any misconduct
occurs in exams, the course would be given a ZERO mark.
六、Selected Courses Results & Credit
1. The final results and credits for the selected courses would be submitted to and confirmed by
the International Affairs Office of USST on the form of SBC Exchange students Academic
Transcript.
