Focus of the Walk
We want to walk on the West side of Rockford to bring attention and
awareness to the many positive things that are happening in our
neighborhood. There are many social service agencies working to help
people on the West side, and we want to bring attention to them including:
Fairgrounds Park, Women’s Crisis Center, Rock River Valley Pantry,
LifeScape, Resource Intervention Center, Rockford Rescue Mission, Rockford
Housing Authority, Home Start, and Haskell Academy. We hope you will
take time Saturday morning and join us for a fun and enlightening walk in
our neighborhood.
