ALERT Issue 8 | February 2015 THE Keeping our team sharp inside the shield Congratulations on your 5th Anniversary! Branch Feature: South Bend Inside: Meet Brian Ciasnocha Midwest Alarm Wins Multi-Million Dollar Award Per Mar Acquires Residential Customers of Rockford Tech ‘Cattle Rescue’ Feeling the Love Saturday morning, Bill Blemke, founder of Irma-based ‘Cattle Rescue Inc.’ recieved a $350 cash donation from the Schofield branch of Per Mar Security Services. The donation stems from a charity fund fed by “Friday Jean day” at the Schofield office, according to Operations Manager Bryan Thacker. “On Fridays we are allowed to wear blue jeans. Those who do contribute $3 into a fund to donate to a charity of our choice. In the past we have donated to various organizations such as the Lincoln and Marathon County Humane Societies and the Neighbors Place. We are strong believers in giving back to our community, and this is a way for us to do that.” Thacker made a special request to donate to Cattle Rescue Inc. after reading a recent article about Blemke and the organization that was published in the Foto News and Merrill Courier. “When I read the article it really touched me. To realize there is nothing in the state to help these poor animals really hit home for me. I love animals and I just think what Bill is doing for these animals, out of the sheer kindness of his heart, is a wonderful thing. That’s why I asked the office to contribute our jean fund for this. Bill is such an exceptional and wonderful human being.” Blemke reports an estimated $750 in donations have poured in since the story ran, and the Per Mar donation now puts funds over the $1,000 mark. “I have recieved so many calls and just an outpouring of support from all over,” Blemke says. “I just can’t say thank you enough or express how much it means to us and the animals too,” he adds with a chuckle. Congratulations to Randy Mulder and Mike McElmeel Congratulations Randy Mulder on being elected Chairman of the Central Iowa ASIS Chapter. It was announced at the meeting that Randy received 30 votes out of 35 voting members for an 85% margin. Mike McElmeel was elected chairman of Eastern Iowa ASIS chapter, an established and active chapter. Please join me in congratulating both Randy and Mike and wishing them luck in making improvements to both chapters. Her story brings to light that we have many services that we can offer our customers and that we are here all the time, day or night for them.
