Dakota County 4-H Auction Scholarship - Word

2016 Dakota County 4-H Auction
Scholarship Information
The 4-H Auction scholarships are funded through Dakota County 4-H Livestock Auction funds received from the
sale/donation of the last pen of rabbits/turkeys/ducks/geese/chickens. This last pen is sold and donated back to
4-H repeatedly until buyer interest diminishes. Money generated from this “sale” has allowed 4-H to offer
college scholarships to deserving 4-Hers, in addition to paying for livestock-related equipment, state fair
chaperone expenses, 4-H promotion supplies, project bowl buzzer systems and supplies for the county fair.
