Feedback cards were collated (see Appendix).
Longer speed meet might not work (wouldn’t be a ‘speed’ meet), perhaps 2 minutes instead
of 1 minute though (TC)


Some societies thought that they needed to get approval of the application form for the
night, and so didn’t come. It needs to be made clear on the form next time that they don’t
need to wait for feedback.
Generally really enjoyed it. Looked very professional. Sign in board looked great. Really good
music, good photography, very relaxed atmosphere, which suited the event.
More presence from student media next time – KTV could interview people?
Need a cloakroom next time – a place for people to put their bags and coats.
Leave a blank space on the leaflet for people to write networking notes and contact details.
Next one: 16th February 2015

“Good atmosphere. Speed thing worked well to encourage networking. Maybe leave more time for
open networking at the beginning.”

More wine”

“We managed to arrange a couple of events with other societies and have thought of some new and
interesting ideas. We would definitely come again. P.S. good wine!”
