Attention Freshman Officers There will be a brief meeting after school on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in the library at
3:15 pm. (10/14)

Science Olympiad- Science Olympiad will meet Monday, October 13th, in room B02 from 3:15-4:00. We will begin
practicing for event. We need new members, if you are interested in science and engineering, meet with us
Monday!(10/13)

Yearbook staff meeting will be held next Wednesday, Oct. 15. Your deposits for New York are also due by that date. If
you have questions or need assignments, see Mrs. Strainic immediately. (10/15)

The Christian Fellowship Club will meet today and every Thursday after school. The club will meet until 4PM. Hope to


The NHS Induction Ceremony will take place tonight, Thursday, October 09, 2014. Congratulations to our Inductees.

Attention all Drama Club members: There is a meeting this Thursday, October 9th @ 3:15 in RM C115. Hope to see

Sophomores---the class t-shirt design and order form have been emailed to your school email. Make sure you check it
out, and if interested in purchasing one, just print the form and turn it in with the money/check within an envelope to Mrs.
Budziak or one of the class officers ASAP (due by October 31st). There will be extra forms and a picture of the design in
the cafeteria at the candy/ribbon sales table.(10/10)

ATTENTION SENIORS: Please note that several colleges will visit Brush this week. Ohio Wesleyan today, Thursday,
October 9th and Otterbein University tomorrow, Friday, October 10th. Sign-up in the Attendance Office if you are
interested in meeting with the representatives. (10/10)

Cleveland Institute of Art is visiting Brush on October 13th during 4th period and 6th period. If you would like to attend
their presentation please see Ms. Curry for details. (10/13)

Attention MAC Scholars and Potential Scholars:
There will be a MAC meeting Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in room A103 at 3:15. All scholars and anyone interested in
becoming a MAC Scholar should attend. Please bring your planners as we will be discussing our agenda for this year.

Jostens was here last night to take your Class Ring orders. He will return tomorrow, Friday, October 10th during lunch
periods. Don’t forget your order form and deposit. Extra Ring packets are available in the Main Office or go to
www.jostens.com to design your Ring online.(10/10)

Picture Re-takes are today, Thursday, October 9 in the PAC. Staff and Students…If you were absent on picture day
OR if you are unhappy with your current school pictures, you will have the opportunity to be photographed on
Thursday. If you are unhappy with pictures that you purchased, you MUST bring them with you to the PAC in order
to have a re-take .(10/9)
SPORTS

The Boys Soccer Team finished their regular season last night, capping a great week of soccer. On Monday, the team
beat Euclid 8-0 on Senior Night as the seniors dominated the game for their last regular season home game. On
Tuesday, the team clinched 2nd place in the conference by beating Garfield Heights 9-3 in a mud bowl. Last night, the
team came from behind to beat arch rival Mayfield 3-2 in one of the best and most entertaining soccer games this year.
The team finished the regular season, 8-6-2 and host a playoff game on Wednesday, October 15 at 7:00 versus
Lakeside. Come out and support the Soccer team for this playoff match.(10/10)

Volleyball Brush ended its regular season by defeating Garfield hts, 25-15, 25-20, 25-18. Finishing 14-8. Senior
outside hitter Morgan "Nugget" McClain dazzled from the service line with 9 aces and 12 pts. Sophomore Jamie Perry
left her role as libero to set because of injury to Alisha Smedley and dished out 12 assists. Senior Gabby Turk stepped
into the libero spot and was 17-21 in serve-receive. The arcs next face Riverside in the sectional tournament next week
on Thursday. Plan on attending to witness the upset of the number-one-seeded Beavers.(10/10)

All Swim Team Members and anyone interested in joining the swim team, please meet Coach Spicer in the library
after school, this Thursday, October 9th for some quick information. After the meeting we will play a game of ultimate
Frisbee, so bring clothes and shoes. See you this Thursday in the library after school.(10/9)

