• ANGEL TREE is underway!
• One representative from each homeroom
should read the instructions out loud to
all. We have to deliver the gifts to Homewood
Children's Village next Thursday, Dec. 18th, so
remember to shop this weekend.
• Thanks for taking the time to make a child's
world brighter!
• Dr. Hahn the Indoor Track Coach, will be at all
lunches Wednesday and Thursday this week to
sign up girls interested in running Indoor Track
this winter.
• Please look for him in the Cafe.
• Attention to those in the Science Fiction and
Fantasy Club!
• A Christmas-themed meeting will be held in
Ms. Day's room after school on December 11.
• There will be food!
• The Girls Basketball Game on Thursday 12/11
vs Seneca Valley is the Quad-A Game of the
week. It will be broadcast live via the internet
on www.quadasports.com and the MSA
Sports Network.
• Please come and support the Team!!
• OC students are FREE with ID Cards
• There will be a yearbook meeting after school
in the computer lab on Monday December
15th.

• Educational Director for the Pittsburgh Public
Theatre, Rob Zellers will be coming on Thursday
after school to talk to students interested in
trying out for this year's Shakespeare Monologue
and Scene Contest. He will help students select
suitable monologues and prepare for the
contest. Anyone interested in attending should
go to the JOA theatre immediately after school
this Thursday.Any questions about the event can
be directed to Mrs. Rinkacs.

• Attention Seniors!
• The holidays are fast approaching and OC will
be on Christmas break starting December 19th
through the New Year. So this is a reminder to
please submit all school document requests
for college applications due between Dec.
19th-Jan. 9th to the guidance office by
December 15th!
• Students need to check their Oakland Catholic
Email regularly.
• Important information regarding updating
your computers has been sent out and the
instructions from Mr. Young need to be
followed.
• The 2013-2014 yearbooks have arrived! Pick
yours up in the computer lab during lunch
periods ONLY.
