Jane's career has taken her through a variety of industries which included seven years with the
Hudson’s Bay Company and ten years with the Canadian Diabetes Association. She has had
the unique opportunity of building a new Children's Museum in Winnipeg, Manitoba in her role
as Executive Director. During her tenure with the Canadian Diabetes Association, Jane served
as Executive Director of the Manitoba Division, VP Public Programs and Services and the
Canadian ambassador to the International Diabetes Federation. She has had the privilege of
serving on an international committee to pass the first chronic disease resolution at the United
Nations in New York City. Jane joined Junior Achievement of Central Ontario in January 2011
as President & CEO. She is passionate about both business and young people and strives to
grow the impact of this important organization in empowering students with important skills in
financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship.
