To Amend Title IV of the SAS

Whereas, during the audit of ASUN in 2012, Title IV of the SAS was deemed as
overcomplicated and confusing;
Whereas, it is important to have a clear and concise process for disbursement of funds from

the treasury, the delegation of signing authority, requests for capital spending, and how the
5
budget is submitted;

Whereas, it is imperative to outline clearly the exact contents of the budget that is submitted
to the Senate by the President;
Whereas, many of the subsections in Title IV are old procedures of the Association that are
no longer practiced;
Be it enacted by the Senate of the Associated Students,

a) Schedule A shall replace Title IV in the Statutes of the Associated Students.
