Next Sunday’s Outreach Collection will be going to our St.
Ann’s Altar Society. St. Ann’s established in 1917, is the oldest
organization at Nativity. In addition to keeping altar linens and
server/priest vestments clean, members have, over the years, built
strong relationships with our nursing home neighbors. They also
serve the community’s needy through involvement with the
Caring Place and St. Vincent de Paul.

Personal Care Weekend: Can you help the Caring
Place, our local food pantry, stock their shelf with toothpaste? On
Saturday, May 17th and Sunday, May 18th we will be collecting
toothpaste. A container will be at the back of church for your
donations.
Confirmation Practice is on Tuesday, May 13th at
6:00 pm for Confirmandi and sponsor (if sponsor is out of town,
parent can replace the sponsor for this practice). Confirmation
Liturgy is Thursday, May 15th at 7:00 pm.
You are asked to remember in your prayers those who are

awarded at the Nativity Fall Festival are the following: Grand
Prize is $10,000 and 2nd prize is $750.00.
Gate of Heaven Cemetery invites you to honor the lives of the
men and women who died protecting our freedom and those
loved ones who have gone before us, with Archbishop Dennis
Schnurr during our annual Memorial Day Field Mass on Monday,
May 26th at 11:00 am. A military presentation will begin at 10:50
am. All are welcome! For more information, please call the
Cemetery at (513) 489-0300 or visit our website at
www.gateofheaven.org. In case of rain, the Mass will be
celebrated at Good Shepherd Church, 8815 E. Kemper Road,
Cincinnati, OH, 45249.
It’s Time to Register for Fall Sports at Nativity: Girls
Basketball, Boys and Girls Soccer, Football, Co-Ed Robotics and
Co-Ed Kindergarten Instructional Soccer…Go to www.nativitycincinnati.org/athletics/registration-page to register. Fees include:
Boosters Fee-$50 (one time fee per family per year); and Sports
Registration Fee. Once registered, it is expected that the student
will participate in the sport. Failure to participate after registration
is complete and rosters are determined is a significant hardship
(logistically and financially) on the Nativity Athletics Youth
Sports Program.REFUNDS WILL ONLY BE ISSUED FOR
INJURIES/ILLNESS WHICH SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT
PARTICIPATION! REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS MAY

The Nativity PTA Walkathon is Another Success: Thank you
to everyone who helped make this year’s walkathon a huge
success once again. Together we raised $9,500 from students’
sponsors and contributions from our wonderful business
sponsors. Please see the enclosed list and patronize these
businesses who made donations to support the entire school

pavement for a tremendous cause! Join the Caring Place team
on Monday, May 26th for the 11th annual Freestore Foodbank
Hunger Walk and 5K Run. This year’s race starts bright and
early at 9:00 am. With each step you are taking you are directly
impacting lives of those in Kennedy Heights, Pleasant Ridge,
Golf Manor, and Silverton. Spend your Memorial Day with us
and walk, run, skip, or stroll around and over the Ohio River!

community event with great food and goodies for the whole

Kennedy Heights is celebrating 100 years as a Cincinnati
neighborhood. You are invited to be listed as a supporter in the
anniversary book being written by the University of Cincinnati
Public History class under the leadership of Prof. Fritz CaseyLeinenger. If you send $20 payable to Kennedy Heights
Community Council to PO Box 36318, Cincinnati, 45236 before
May 20th or donate on the web

copy of the book in June. There is an anniversary t-shirt for $15, a
Home and Garden tour on June 22nd and a ticketed dinner at 6:00
