OFF-SITE ACTIVITIES
Within a 10-minute walk of the Hotel
Gyeongbokgung Palace
Gyeongbokgung Palace, constructed in 1395, was home to King Taejo (Yi Seonggye) of the Joseon Dynasty. It was also the heart of Hanyang, which is Seoul
today. The expansive palace grounds and its architecture shed light on authentic
Korean history and culture. Arguably one of Korea’s most famous palaces,
Gyeongbokgung Palace is viewable from select rooms in Four Seasons Hotel
Seoul and is located near the Blue House, the President’s residence.
Within a 10-minute drive of the Hotel
Changdeokgung Palace
Established in 1405, the Changdeokgung Palace is another remarkably restored
and preserved attraction that shows a glimpse into the Joseon Dynasty.
Changdeokgung reflects Korean harmonization with nature (its buildings were
carefully framed into the landscape), compared to the more contemporary
Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Within a 15-minute drive of the Hotel
National Museum of Korea
The National Museum of Korea showcases thousands of years’ worth of history,
including a gold crown from the Three Kingdoms Period, paintings from the
Joseon Dynasty and photos from contemporary Korean artists.
Within a 12-minute drive of the Hotel
N Seoul Tower Observatory
Take in the true size and grandeur of Seoul by seeing it from above. Arguably the
most popular attraction of the lush Namsan Park is the N Seoul Tower, which
offers observation platforms that tower over the park and Seoul. At night, N Seoul
Tower transforms into a light-up piece of art.

TAILORED MENUS
Our expert culinary staff creates menus
that fit your event's purpose, the season
and your food preferences.
Water Sports on Han River
Take a short car ride to Han (Hangang) River, where you can jet ski, water ski,
wake board, kayak and more on the water, all while taking in the views of the
Seoul cityscape.
Within a 35-minute drive of the Hotel
Hiking at Bukhansan National Park
Despite the booming metropolitan setting nearby, the tranquil Bukhansan National
Park is easily accessible from the Hotel thanks to the city’s road system. The park
is home to Bukhansan Mountain and Dobongsan Mountain, with many gorges,
streams and hiking trails in between.
Within a 10-minute walk of the Hotel
Ice Skating at Seoul Plaza
Located by Seoul City Hall, Seoul Plaza hosts an array of events, such as
concerts in the warmer months, then transforms into an outdoor ice skating rink in
the winter. Skaters of all levels are welcome, and skate rentals are offered.

BOCCALINO
Genuinely Italian yet thoroughly modern, Boccalino brings unmistakable Italian
style to the heart of Seoul. Sit back with a Chianti from the curated wine list and

the kitchen at Kioku, which features a high-energy Tokyo-style sushi bar
overlooking the hip and cool main dining area, where in-the-know diners linger

BAR BOCCALINO
Sidle up to Bar Boccalino with a shrug of the shoulders and a “ciao” on the lips
and you might as well be in Milan – all that’s missing is the Vespa parked on the
curb. Bar Boccalino is a dramatic, airy space where the old-meets-new wine,
spirits and aperitivo selections perfectly complement the bar’s singular ambience,
making this Seoul’s best choice for unforgettable nights on the town.<br>

Bar
CHARLES H.
Legendary bon vivant Charles H. Baker, an American who drank and ate his way
around the world during the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s, lends his name to Seoul’s
most unique cocktail bar. Exotic, glamorous and steeped in the romance of world
travel, Charles H. is housed in an intricate subterranean space, giving it the feel
of an American speakeasy. Cocktail connoisseurs and nightlife mavens alike
come here to sample the concoctions of skilled barmen, who tap into the lore of
Baker’s writings to create classic and contemporary libations, often with a distinct
Asian flavour.
