6. Description of the proposed research (max. 4 pages on this section)
The description must clarify the research challenges, scientific approach and novelty of
the proposed research. Please include overall aim, key objectives, scientific background,
methodology, significance (potential contribution to science and technology).
7. Description of the proposed work plan (max. 2 pages on this section)
Please indicate roughly (e.g. by a Gantt chart) how the entire research project is to be
phased, in periods. More specifically, indicate which activities are likely to be carried out.
Indicate roughly which tasks will be undertaken by which members of the research team,
including the in kind efforts by the private partners. If possible specify milestones
and deliverables throughout the duration of the project. The project duration should not
exceed five years. Please also refer to the balance between goals and the available
means.
8. Description of the consortium (max. 1 page)
Describe in what manner will be cooperated between the partners in the consortium. Also
include possible secondment of requested personnel in the project. Please refer to the
synergy, complementarity and added value of the partnership including the availability of
infrastructure within the consortium.

Please describe how the research will contribute to society and/or to other academic
areas. Please refer to the embedding of the research results into academic research as
well as user’s environment and user’s involvement in the project.
