Attention Parents:
We are pleased to announce that we finally have a newly redesigned parent drop-off & pick-up area on
the east end of our building. With these new changes comes a need to train our parents to ensure that
we keep traffic moving smoothly while maintaining safety for our students. To make certain that traffic
moves smoothly and children are kept safe we are asking all parents using our drop-off/pick-up and
parking area to please follow these guidelines (please also see the map on the back of this page):










Our doors open at 7:30 a.m. and parent pick-up is from 3:10–3:25 p.m. Please do not drop off
your child before 7:30 a.m. We do not have staff available to let them into the building or keep
them safe before that time.
Our new drop-off/pick-up and parking area is one-way traffic only. Please observe all traffic
arrows.
If you are dropping off or picking up your child and do not wish to walk your child to or from your
vehicle, please use the designated loading/unloading zone (yellow striped area along the sidewalk).
Do not attempt to drop off your student in the pull out lane as this creates a hazard for your child.
When using the designated loading/unloading zone, please pull up to the south end of the
sidewalk next to our building to allow other cars to pull up behind you and pull forward as others
pull out in front of you. Our staff will deliver your child to your car. Once your child has been
delivered, please use the pull out lane to exit the parking lot observing the traffic flow arrows.
Waiting for the person in front of you to get there child is not necessary.
The loading/unloading zone begins at the end of the sidewalk on the northeast corner of the
parking area. For safety reasons, students may not be dropped off along the grass before the
designated loading/unloading zone.
Do not park or get out of your vehicle while in the loading/unloading zone. Our staff will ask you
to park your car in a designated parking area.
If you wish to walk your child into the school or retrieve your child from the office, please park in
the designated parking areas and walk your child to or from the sidewalk. We cannot allow
students to walk unattended through the designated parking area for safety reasons.
To ensure the safety for all students, our staff will give you a visitor’s pass if you wish to come into
the building with your child.
Please do not drop off or pick up your child from our staff parking lot.
