ANNOUNCEMENTS
± Choir will rehearse today.
± Adult Sunday School will meet in the Fireside Room during
the Sunday School time. Discussion Sheets are on the ledge by
the mailboxes.
± Sunday School will not meet next Sunday.
± Prayer Group: Meets Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. in the
Fireside Room. All are invited to attend.
± Budget Requests – If you have any budget requests, please
contact Barb Carter or Steve Burt by December 6th.
± Thanksgiving Offering: Psalm 100 calls us to ‘Enter His gates
with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise!’ Psalm 96 calls us
to ‘bring an offering and come into His courts’. As a way of
preparing to give thanks, special thanksgiving offering envelopes
will be handed out after the service. Take time this week to
prayerfully consider how you worship God with your offerings.
± Each week we will be praying for members of our congregation.
This week please pray for Dean & Jessica Gibbie; Byron & Brittni
Hobbs; Tim, Teresa, Meleyna & Henry Winterstein; Dan, Heather,

± Roof update – A total of $22,256.86 has been collected to date.
If you are able to make a donation towards the roof, please put it in
the offering and mark it “roof fund”. We would like to begin this
project soon.
± Join us to celebrate God’s goodness this Thursday, November
26, Thanksgiving Day, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
± Help decorate our church for the Advent/Christmas season on
Saturday, November 28th, 9 a.m. – noon.
± Reminder: The Adult Day Program Board meets this Monday
night at 6:30 p.m. at Reeman CRC.

he is in Spectrum, Grand Rapids recovering from surgery. Also
remember Megan and Silas Folkema as they are returning to the
United States from China this week.

anniversary of this event. This is a great outing for you and your
friends in preparation for the Christmas season!
± Advance Notice: Secret Pal Christmas Party will be Tuesday,
December 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

± New Socks Needed – Socks of all sizes are needed to benefit
the TrueNorth Community Services Children’s Christmas
Program. You can bring them here and place them by the tree
next to the Welcome Center by December 4th.
± From Mafia to Ministry – One lonely night in his prison cell,
former Mafia member Frankie Palermo encountered Christ and his
life was changed forever. Frank and his wife Judy, founders of No
Boundaries Ministries, share how they are seeing the Gospel
restore lives as they travel the nation to preach in churches and

± First Congregational UCC Christmas Shopping & Home
Tour – This event will be held December 5, 2015 from 10 a.m.
until 3 p.m. It is sponsored by the UCC Women's Fellowship and
includes a Christmas Shoppe where many quality crafted items
are sold, a Plum Pudding Shoppe with gourmet holiday foods, a
Soup Luncheon from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., and a Home Tour of
two beautiful homes in the Fremont area. Tickets for the Home

± RYPED Bowling! Join us on Wednesday, November 25, at
6:15-8:00 p.m. We will meet at church and then head to the
bowling alley!
Middle Mania: Our next meeting will be Wednesday, December
2, at FCS from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
