HSVB @ ALAH……6 p.m.
FCCLA BLANKETS
FCCLA blankets are due Tuesday.
HOMECOMING DANCE PERMISSION SLIPS
Guest permission slips are now available in the high school office for the
homecoming dance. If you are bringing a guest from another school you
must have the form completed and returned by Tuesday. No exceptions.
BEMENT BULLDOG BOOSTER MEETING
There will be a Bement Bulldogs Booster meeting in the cafeteria Tuesday
at 6:30 p.m.
DENTAL CLINIC
Forms are available in the high school office for students who will be
taking part in the Dental Clinic being held here at the school on
Wednesday, October 28. Forms must be completed by a parent and returned
to the high school office no later than Tuesday.
JUNIORS
Juniors who registered for the PSAT need to report to Room H-213 Wednesday
at 8:15 a.m. Bring a calculator and two No. 2 pencils. (no mechanical
pencils)
HS BOYS AND GIRLS BASKETBALL SIGNUP
High school boys and girls interested in signing up for basketball this
season must do so in the high school office no later than Wednesday.
All
forms, fees and physical must be turned in to the high school office
before practice begins.
HSBBB MEETING
There will be a meeting Wednesday during activity period in Mr. Brown's
classroom for any high school boy interested in playing basketball this
season.
DETENTIONS
High School detentions will be held in Mrs. Witts' classroom Wednesday
from 3:20-3:50 p.m.
3rd-8th grade detentions will be held in Mr. Elder's classroom Wednesday
from 3:20-3:50 p.m.
MSBBB MEETING
There will be a middle school boys basketball meeting Thursday during
activity period in Mrs. Clark’s classroom.
HOMECOMING PARKING
Students and staff are reminded to park at Coles Pasture on Homecoming
Friday. The parking lot, street parking and parking in front of the gym
are off limits.
MSVB SIGNUP
Middle school girls interested in signing up for volleyball this season
must do so in the high school office no later than Wednesday, October 21.
All forms, fees and physical must be turned in to the high school office
before practice begins.
BBB CHILI SUPPER
The Bement Bulldog Boosters will host a chili supper Thursday, October 22
from 4:30-6 p.m. in the cafeteria.
SENIORS
The Senior After Prom parents will be running a concession stand at school
on Monday, October 26. Two seniors are needed to help with concessions.
See Mr. Kepley if you are willing to help.
HS STUDENTS
Parkland College is hosting an information night for prospective students
and their parents on Thursday, November 5 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the
Parkland Student Union. This event is free and open to the public. This
is a great opportunity to meet with Parkland staff who can answer any
questions you might have. See guidance if you want more information.
SENIORS
Any student who would like Service Learning Hours or to sign up to
volunteer Saturday, October 24th or November 14th should contact Steve
Walsh at 678-4751
COLLEGE/MILITARY REP VISITATION PROCEDURES AND VISITATION DATES
Juniors and seniors who are interested in attending a meeting with a college
or military representative must do the following: get a permission slip from
the guidance office, have your teacher sign the permission slip, return the
permission slip to the guidance office the day before the representative’s
visit.
Teachers: Please be sure to announce to students that permission slips MUST
be in the day before the rep's visit. Students who come in the day of the
visit will be turned away.
