to forward for Charity. Thank you.
Instrument lessons – Please can you pay for this term’s lessons if you haven’t already
done so. Unfortunately, if lessons are not paid for in advance then lessons will have to be withdrawn.
Book Club
– “Nobody likes going to the dentist, especially when they have to remove a tooth.
But do you ever wonder what they do with the tooth afterwards? Demon Dentist is a comedy thriller written
by David Walliams and it’s packed full of rotten teeth, acid toothpaste and a very evil dentist …….
Our next meeting will be on the 30th January at 2.00pm in the learning lounge with Mrs Seymour. Please
make sure you have read the book. Kindest regards, Benjamin Hathaway 5R.”
“Our next book has been chosen by vote during our last meeting!
David Walliams' Demon Dentist!! "Demon Dentist is a funny book with some sadness in places but laugh
your pants off bits in others! If you're already afraid of the dentist, then DO NOT READ THIS BOOK!"
(Nealah Griffiths)

(Friends of Alderman Davies School) met on Thursday 15th January to plan future fundraising
events. We are planning a Valentine’s Disco (date to be confirmed ASAP but it will be during w/c 9th
February) and some other fun activities.
We would love to see more Friends of Alderman Davies School getting together to plan events and activities
which will raise funds to enhance the children’s education experience – we are currently saving up for
equipment to develop the outdoor play space and for a dedicated Godly Play area.
A huge thank you to everyone who kindly donated prizes and bought tickets for the Christmas Raffle – we
are so grateful for everyone’s kindness and enthusiasm. Your contributions are hugely appreciated.
Our next meeting will be on Thursday 5th February where we will be planning the final details for the
Valentine’s Disco – please join us at school at 5pm, tea and coffee provided and children very welcome.
