The minimum drinking age for all alcoholic beverages on all Royal Caribbean International ships is 21. Waivers are not
granted on any itinerary other than Europe, South America, Asia or Australia.
Upon the request of a parent or legal guardian1, guests who are 18 – 20 years of age may order and consume beer, wine
or liquor only on European, South American, Asian or Australian itineraries subject to the following requirements:
a.
The ship must be in international waters, Valid for use only in Europe, South America, Australia and Asia.
Waivers are not granted for any other itineraries.
b.
A parent or legal guardian 1 must be onboard and sailing with the 18-20 year old and accept responsibility for,
and monitor the behavior of, the 18-20 year old as noted below and in our Guest Conduct Policy to ensure the
privilege is enjoyed responsibly.
c.
The 18-20 year old must agree in writing to comply with our policies. Among other things, the 18-20 year must
agree:

That he or she will not provide any alcoholic beverage to any minors, regardless of whether the minor is
related to the 18-20 year old.
•
That the privilege to be served beer, wine or liquor is a privilege, not a right, and may be withdrawn at

anytime at the cruise line’s discretion .
•
To not provide any beer, wine or liquor obtained, to anyone else, including other friends and adults.
The privilege to be served beer, wine or liquor may be revoked or limited by the cruise line and the cruise line’s
policy may be changed at any time without prior notice.
WAIVER REQUEST

I hereby affirm is between the ages of 18 to 20 years of age as of the sailing date of this voyage. I hereby request and
authorize Royal Caribbean to serve liquor, beer or wine to the above-named person. I have read and understood the
Royal Caribbean Policy set forth above and hereby agree to abide by that policy and affirm that the above-named person
is fully capable of and able to comply with that policy.
I hereby accept full responsibility for his or her acts and agree to supervise his or her consumption of liquor,
beer or wine at all times.
I acknowledge and agree that I shall be personally liable for any charges made by the above-named person

I have read the summary of the cruise line’s policies set forth above and hereby agree to abide by the policies and
procedures set forth by Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. applicable to those minors between 18- 20 years of age, who are
granted the privilege of consuming beer, wine or liquor served to them onboard as authorized by their respective parent or
legal guardian.
I acknowledge that those policies, among other things, strictly prohibit me from providing any beer, wine or liquor I am
served or receive, to any other person(s), with no exceptions, and I hereby agree to not provide beer, wine or liquor to any
person, of any age, at any time. I understand and recognize the seriousness of any violation(s) of these policies, and
agree to abide any/all decision(s) by the company regarding any breach of these policies, pursuant to the company’s
Guest Conduct Policy, which may impose sanctions up to and including disembarkation from the vessel and
reporting of the matter to applicable policy authorities and/or the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.).
