“EGNATIA ODOS S.A.”
• According to the MoU and following a proposal by the Greek State, the
Steering Committee of the BSRH assigned the responsibility of
operation of the Technical Secretariat for the execution of the project to
“EGNATIA ODOS S.A.”.
• “EGNATIA ODOS S.A.” is a legal entity governed by private law in the
form of a “Société Anonyme” with the Greek State (Ministry of
Infrastructure, Transport and Network) being the sole shareholder.
• It is responsible for the design, construction, operation and maintenance
of the EGNATIA Motorway. EGNATIA Motorway and its vertical Axes are the
backbone of the Northern Greece transport system, which runs
“horizontally” from Igoumenitsa (Adria) to Kipi (Turkish borders).
• Based on its wide range of experience and know how, EGNATIA ODOS has
extended its field of activities to other areas in Greece and abroad.

EGNATIA ODOS A.E. is the preferred bidder, as head of a J/V, for
the international tender providing Consultancy Services for the
Management and Support of Transport and Regional Development
Operational Programs (Roads Infrastructure Agency / RIA).
ALBANIA

Management and Supervision Services for the road Ag. Saranda Konispoli (Sagiada) construction works (Ministry of Public Works,
Telecommunications and Transport / General Roads Directorate).

Consulting Services as head of a J/V for the World Bank
international competition (IFC-WB), implementing operation and
maintenance concession contracts for motorways in Albania.

By Common Ministerial Decision Δ0/0/28/2/Φ.1332 “Egnatia Odos A.E.” was
assigned and delegated the Greek State rights and obligations concerning
