Hey guys! What’s up! Today, my group: The Hunger
Shadows is performing a presentation about plants,
flowers and other things.
Lets begin!!!
Q1
How did the plant get to the crack
of the wall ?
A wind blow the seed into the crack.
A bird bring the seed to the crack
Q3
Why are plants so
important?
Plants are the backbone of all life on Earth and an essential
resource for human well-being. Just think about how your
everyday life depends on plants
Food: Everything we eat
comes directly or indirectly
from plants. Throughout
human history,
approximately 7,000
different plant species have
been used as food by
people.
Water: Plants regulate
the water cycle: they
help distribute and
purify the planet's
water. They also help
move water from the
soil to the
atmosphere through
a process called
transpiration.
Air: Oxygen is
brought to you by
plants, as a by
product of
photosynthesis.
Climate: Plants store
carbon, and have
helped keep much of
the carbon dioxide
produced from the
burning of fossil
fuels out of the
atmosphere.
Q4
Types of seed dispersal
 WATER
 WIND
 ANIMALS
 EXPLOSION
Seeds dispersed by water
 Some plants make use of water to disperse their seeds.
 Plants which grow beside water often rely on water to
transport their seeds for them.
 A classic example is the coconut which can help it
afloat because its thick fibrous husk contains air.
Seeds dispersed by wind
 Fruits/Seeds which are light and thin and have
hair-like or wind-like structure allowing them to
be carried away by the wind.
E.g. Dandelion & Angsana
DISPERSAL OF ANIMALS
o Fleshy, edible fruits with hard seeds that cannot be digested.
- If seeds are large, animals throw them away after eating the
fruit.
- If seeds are small, animals eat them along with the fruits.
Seeds pass out of their bodies through digestive system.
E.g. Mango, Papaya
oFruits/Seeds are small and have hooks or
stiff hair to catch on the fur of passing
animals.
E.g Love grass
DISPERSAL OF EXPLOSION
Fruits splits open with sudden force to scatter seeds.
E.g. Rubber
What are the conditions needed for
the plant to grow at the crack at

the wall
 Warmth
 Water
 Air
What are the others ways of
reproduction of plant?
Self reproduction
Cross reproduction
