Proposal Summary
Explain the purpose for this proposal:
This proposal revised the CH (from 4 to 3) and course content. This course was a four hour major course for ATTR and
elective for EXSC - the content originally involved many topics not relevant for EXSC. This course was designed to address
the introductory rehab concepts which will better suit the needs of the EXSC majors and for ATTR will be followed with a
subsequent course that is being designed (ATTR 45041) which will expand and address the region specific practitioner and
clinical based concepts essential to ATTR.
Explain how this proposal affects program requirements and students in your unit:
There are no overall changes in the total number of credit hours for the program. It remains at 121.
Explain how this proposal affects courses, program requirements and student in other units:
EXSC will gain one hour as this course is reduced from 4 to 3 CH. They support (see EG memo) this change.
Explain how this proposal affects enrollment and staffing:
This course is currently taught and will continue to be taught by ATTR faculty. It will reduce the load for the faculty by 1 CH.
