The COD Physical Therapist Assistant program has received 10-year accreditation through 2023 from the

Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy

Education of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Training and Exercise Program. Since then, the College has worked on six specific areas in fulfillment of its goal to exercise and train first responders and other agencies on the implementation of regional disaster plans. Most recently, a functional exercise, “Operation Sudden Impact,” was developed by COD, Tetra Tech Inc. and other project partners at Valparaiso

University. The scenario, which included a line of destructive tornados in Will County, was organized to demonstrate how a

Art Exhibit April 17

High school students will display their artwork at the third annual "Walk This Way" exhibit from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on

Thursday, April 17, in the

McAninch Arts Center. During this free exhibit, students from high schools throughout District

502 will display their work in a wide range of styles and media, including ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, sculpture and mixed media. Prizes will be awarded, and refreshments will be served. Read More

Coyotes on Campus?

The College ’s Buildings and Grounds area is stepping up efforts to control the local goose population and recently installed fake coyotes and owls around campus. These decoys are designed to discourage nesting geese. Should you notice any of this new

“wildlife,” rest assured they pose no danger.
