• consists of a flat, bridged configuration
currently undergoing conversion to a routed,
sub-netted configuration

• Structure includes DNS resolution for some of
the other UH campuses

• Currently handled by 2 Linux machines
• Available for campus-wide use
• Utilizes two non-overlapping scopes for
address assignment
