Garments Industry has been a challenge for me since I joined our family business POWERTEX FASHIONS LTD. Understanding the requirements of existing buyers and
developing prospective buyers has been an unbreakable experience for me. Nevertheless the
buyers aren’t wrong on their way of thinking in asking for quality products in competitive
prices. Our defensive tackle in cooperating them with the COMPETITIVE PRICE, QUALITY,
and ON-TIME SHIPMENT helped us win the hearts of the buyers we worked so far.
Reading the psychology and managing more than 1500 heads is a gigantic task though not
impossible. Implementing several facilities for our workers helped us win their hearts and thus
we are thankful to them as well for their hard work, devotion and loyalty.
By the Grace of Almighty, we Powertex Fashions Ltd have grown a lot since its establishment
by bringing so many developments in our manufacturing process and hope to continue
developing ourselves more.
We believe garments industry has been playing role as a backbone for Bangladesh economy
and it will concrete itself heavily to be a competitor among the garments industry around the
world.
About us
Powertex Fashions Ltd was established in the year 2004 with a vision to export quality clothing
among the clothing stores around the world. Being a very new factory in a developed industry
in Bangladesh, it was indeed a challenge for the management of the company to survive. By
the grace of Almighty, despite several back and forth, incorporating with the high skilled
expertise, it kept on developing itself by working with various International Buyers and now a
very well set factory with full compliance working environment and high-end machineries.
We highly specialize in manufacturing any sort of bottom items whether it is DENIM or
TWILL. Our regular items are DENIM or TWILL LONG, SHORTS, CARGO LONG,
CARGO SHORTS, CHINOS, and BASIC 5 POCKET PANTS. Apart from these, we are also
producing DENIM SHIRTS and JACKETS.
Management
Dr.Assaduzzaman after MBA from Dhaka University joined in Govt. service and after few
years with Govt. in various position joined in Garments exports trade as General Manager in
Elite Garments Industries Ltd (A divn. of Elite Paint Group) and first took the risk of
establishing Factory at Board Bazar, Tongi which is pioneer in the area and having more than
16 years in Multi-National Buying services starting from May Deptt Stores, USA setting-up
Swire & Mclaine (UK multinational conglomerate) in Bangladesh, SKD Pacific, (HK
multinational company) as General Manager in Linmark Int’l Ltd, (Multinational company)
Bangladesh and finally as country head in Bangladesh the Littlewoods shop Direct Group U.K.
multinational conglomerate decided to establish 100% export oriented with fully compliance
Garments Industries and reality is “Powertex Fashions Ltd” having all the pre-requisites of
producing bottoms and Casual Shirts.

FACTORY FACILITIES
Factory was established during June-2004 and commenced production from February-2005.
Now we have 8 Lines in the correct location with room for further expansion up to 16
Production Lines in the same premises. We have already started a new factory of 6 lines which
is about 5 minutes drive from the current location. All the Machineries are from Japan and with
advanced technology such as Auto trimmer, computerized Velcro attaching Machine,
Computerized Bar tack, etc.
Location
Unit 1:- Located at Board Bazar, near National University, Tongi and about 10
Minutes drive from Dhaka Air port.
Unit 2:- Located at Kamarjuri, Tongi and 5 Minutes drive from Unite-1.
Professionals : Teams of highly trained experienced professionals with assurance of Premium
quality. The factory is complied with all relevant legislation and constantly
striving forward for improvement. Strong quality control teams are active to
ensure optimum quality standard by conducting inspections diligently at
different stages of production.
Health
: Doctor and Nurse are always available for Medical treatment. Fire
evacuation plan in each floor. Regular fire drills are carried out. Fire Alarm
bells are installed in different places of the building and the bells are regularly
checked. It is our policy to keep fire exits free and open even while there is one
member.

Powertex Fashions Ltd.
has been set up with professional Merchandisers and quality
assurance team. We are committed to the Buyers to maintain on time delivery with quality
products.

: Powertex Fashions presently established in a space 70000 SFT .
Production Items
: All Trousers, All sort of Shorts, Shirts, all kind of Bottom,
kids item.
Total 8 Lines running now. Each line consists of 65 machines.
Production Capacity : 18,000 dzn to 20,000 dzn per month depends on styling.
The aim of Powertex Fashions is to become one of the best of its kinds and achieve the
confidence of the valued Patrons.
Electricity
: Besides general electricity supply facilities, the company owns a heavy
auto Generator to run the factory all time whenever needed.
No Child Labor
: All workers are above the age of 18 as per the agreement with Int’l labor
organization (ILO).
Lead Time
: Based on quantity and fabric availability we are able to supply within
short span of time.
We have a plan to set up in house lab testing facility.
