Legacy Tours has been offering tours to the sacred sites of Latter Day Saint Church History for several years. We know that visiting these sites can be life-changing. We are thrilled to now offer this unique experience to youth ages 16 – 18. Youth are making big decisions at this point in their life, preparing for missions, college, marriage and careers. What better way to solidify the foundation they have begun at home and in seminary than by visiting the Sacred Grove, the Nauvoo temple, Liberty Jail, and more. The accompanying flier provides information about the dates and itinerary of the tour. The cost of the tour is $1800, and is payable over 9 months, last payment due May 1, 2014. This price includes a $200 non-refundable deposit that is required to save a seat on this educational, spiritual and recreational experience. The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE because of planning and other tour related costs. This trip promises to be a wonderful and rewarding experience. While the focus of the tour is to gain a greater testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ and of the restored gospel, we want your child to have fun too. A commitment to study, read the scriptures and be alert to what we are seeing is expected each of the 13 days. Added to this are important rules and standards that must be met in order for the tour to be successful. Therefore, we must have complete and earnest cooperation from your son/daughter if they desire to be considered for this unique experience. If this requirement is met, we hope to bring your son/daughter home a better person that when they left. Please do not force you child to go. They must have their own desire to go if the tour is to be a good experience for them. In order to ensure safety and management of the youth we are looking for a few adult/parent chaperones for this tour. If you are interested in coming on the tour as a chaperone, please let us know. The cost for chaperones is $1200. Legacy Tours and Travel is not affiliated with the LDS Church nor does the LDS Seminary sponsor it. It is a privately owned company that engages in other packages besides this youth tour. Mark Clifford is the Tour Director. Chris Beynon (Seminary Teacher at Bountiful High School) is the guide for this tour. We invite you to carefully consider this great opportunity for your child. Sincerely, Mark L Clifford, Tour Director 2 Legacy Tours and Travels 13 Day Youth Church History Tour June 13th – 25th, 2014 Cost of the Tour: $1800 – payable over 9 months, last payment being received by May 1st, 2014.
