Why an Energy Efficiency Global Forum?
Given the Growth of World-wide Energy Demand and an
increasing focus on Global Climate Change, EE Global was
developed to:
 Demonstrate that energy efficiency is the cheapest, quickest and cleanest
resource for meeting the world’s ever-increasing demand for energy.
 Foster a more vibrant, global marketplace for energy-efficient products
and services.
 Forge strategic alliances and partnerships among international
representatives.
 Educate a wide array of consumers, public and media on the benefits
of, and need for, energy efficiency.
 Share and migrate energy-efficiency best practices across international
borders and industry sectors.
What Makes EE Global Unique?

Organized by international leaders from five geographic world regions:
– Africa, Asia/Pacific, Europe, Latin America & North America.

Rotates between the regions with leadership for event from “Host” Region:
– 2007 was held in North America & was led by Senator Mark Pryor & Jeff Fettig,
Chairman & CEO of Whirlpool Corporation.
– 2009 will be held in Paris, France & leaders to date include Niels B. Christiansen,
