Positive Attitude Attitude is defined as “a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person’s behavior”. The way you look at a situation or the way you handle certain situations. For example, the way you look at a situation involving others who make little mistakes in the job they have received. Also, the way you look at opportunities within situations is a factor in whether or not you have a positive attitude. Do you see the opportunity in the situation or do you see only what could go wrong in situations. It’s the difference between being a pessimist or an optimist. Which sentence comes to mind when facing an obstacle or situation? Is it “I can’t do this” or “I can do this, I just need to try”. There is absolutely nothing wrong with trying and failing, just to get back up and conquering the task at hand. It helps you figure out how things work and how to make things easier for you. Not attempting how to do something new because you don’t want to failo is not going to help you learn new skills. Trying to achieve the highest amount of success will satisfy you and quiet that little voice in your head telling you that you can’t do it. Surrounding yourself with positive people can only bring out the best in every situation thrown at you. Negative people only bring down your spirit and energy to their level. How do I go about achieving and maintaining a positive attitude? By putting into action all of the above information. I am surrounding by the most positive and high spirited people in my life. People who believe that anything is possible and that efforts means more than the outcome. People who help me achieve what I want to achieve to the best of my ability. There is always a bright side to every situation and outcome. To most the cup is half empty, to me, the cup is half full.
