I.
Scope
A custom field in billing document is needed to store the status of the corresponding BILL
profile in EDM. Custom field needs to be added to table ERCH. The value needs to be
retrieved from table EPROFVALSTAT.
To implement this functionality SAP enhancement EBIA001: IS-U: User-Defined Fields in
Billing Document, include ZXBI1U01 can be used.

Check if it isn’t yearly billing:
Check if period of portion is not equal to ‘12’ (that’s yearly billing)
Portion = xy_bill_doc-erch-portion
Period = TE420-PERIODEW
Table can be linked to each other by TE420-TERMSCHL and xy_bill_doc-erchportion.
Determine status of BILL profile for the whole billing period:
Start date billing period = xy_bill_doc-erch-begabrpe
End date billing period = xy_bill_doc-erch-endabrpe
In variant program ISU_ZUTIL100 the status of the BILL profile is also determined.

Retrieve data from interface
First of all determine BILL profile by using RTP interface. (X_OBJ- IRTPINTF)

Prepare data
The profiles with the corresponding timeperiods have been put in an internal table
during the step ‘Retrieve data from interface’. In this step this table is condensed so
that only 1 maximum period per profile remains.

Setting status to UTC
The checkperiods have to be changed to UTC-time in order to be able to retrieve the
correct status records from the table in the step ‘Select profile status’.

Select profile status
The profile statuses are retrieved for the period that has to be selected for the relevant
profiles. Statuses can be found in table EPROFVALSTAT, select only statuses which
starts with ‘E*’.

Convert & store profile status
There can be found one or more statuses for the Billing period in table
EPROFVALSTAT.
Determine short text for status, table TJ30-TXT04 (for example E0001 will become
CW)
STSMA=’NLEDM001’
Store corresponding TJ30-TXT04 of status (es) in the new field ‘Profile
status’(ZZPROFVALSTAT).
