Catalyst Every day when you come into science class, you will have a catalyst assignment to work on. The catalyst prompt will usually be projected onto the white board, and your answer should be written on the catalyst sheet that will be kept in your binder. Catalyst 1. What is the most fun thing you did this summer? 2. What is your art? 3. How long have you been at ASA? When you have fully answered these questions, label your file folder, with last name first (ex. Davey, Annabelle). On your piece of paper… - Write your name on the paper, large enough for people to read, but leaving enough room for others to write around it - Using as little tape as possible, tape the paper to your back. Use a partner to help. - You will have 5 minutes to walk around the room, stopping those you run into, introducing yourself, and writing something positive you know about them or have noticed about them on the paper on their back. • • • • • Name How long you’ve been at ASA Art The best thing you did this summer The favorite thing that someone wrote on your back Emergency/Safety Plan Food/Drink Policy Science Supplies Will discuss more tomorrow, but your priority should be to get: Homework Create a collage that best answers the following question: What scientist do you best relate to and why?
