It is important that you revise regularly – at least twice a week –
this is as well as completing assessment tasks and homework
Revision includes summarising information (and learning the
information) + completing practice questions
Know your assessment schedule – so that you maximise your school
assessment mark that is put into the Board of Studies
Have a study timetable – IT IS VITAL THAT YOU PLAN AND
ALLOCATE YOUR TIME OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT ACHIEVE YOUR
POTENTIAL – This will assist your organisational skills in Year 11/12
Go to Homework Centre at least once a fortnight so that you seek
that extra assistance you might require (Mr Broadfoot – Science
Teacher will be at the Homework Centre each Wednesday for Term
Two)
EXAM FORMAT
• Section 1 : 50 Multiple Choice questions – 50 marks
• Section 2 : 10 One Word answer questions – 10 marks
• Section 2 : Short answer questions – 40 marks
• Stimulus booklet can be provided
• TIME : 2 hours
