What is it?
A 30-day eco lifestyle challenge inspired thousands of high school and college students.
Goal
To transition participants from conventional to conscious living through simple, fun, and high impact daily steps.
Every day will be uniquely themed to demonstrate the variety, relevance, and accessibility of sustainability in today's world.
Participants will be given Green,
Greener, Greenest, and Extra
Credit Challenges each day to engage, learn, and experience.
Students will submit innovative multimedia answers with text, visuals, and videos. Resources provided information that mobilized action.
20 Daily prizes are distributed for the best challenge submissions in the greener and greenest categories, and points will be allocated for completed challenges according to level of difficulty.
At the end of October challengers will be asked to submit a “final exam” which consists of both a video and written application. The exam in combination with total points from the daily challenges, will be used to choose the 12 challenge finalists admitted to Green
University.
12 challenge finalists will be chosen to participate in Green U 2013. This
December winners will be flown to
San Francisco where leaders and eco experts will share their wisdom and mentor Challengers in the creation of social action platforms.
These social action platforms will be incorporated into TTG’s 2014 initiatives as well as PGC 2014.
