Living by Faith - Trusting Jesus

To trust Jesus… we must believe that _________________:
Without faith no one can please God. Anyone who comes to God must believe that he is real and that he
rewards those who truly want to find him.
Hebrews 11:6 NCV
Based on the narrative and record of the Scriptures:
 We believe that God is the one true God
 We believe that Jesus is the Son of God
 We believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins
 We believe that Jesus rose from the dead on the 3rd day
 We believe that in Jesus we have forgiveness of sin
 We believe that Jesus sent the Holy Spirit
 We believe that through Jesus Christ we have eternal life
To trust Jesus… we must believe _________________:
The Lord is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation.
Psalm 145:9 NLT
"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”
John 10:11 NIV
Don't you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you?
Does this mean nothing to you? Can't you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

To trust Jesus… we must believe _________________:
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except
