Coaching for Change & Transition – Level 2 – 11th March, Liverpool Dealing with change and perhaps more critically the impact of change must be high on the agenda for all leaders in the NHS as the constant state of change shows no signs of slowing down. Agility and flexibility are essential in the volatile and fast paced marketplace that exists today. Research indicates that leaders of change are more effective when they are able to pay attention to their own needs within the transition. Coaching for Change and Transition aims to develop and enhance the skills of coaches to help supports change leaders within the NHS as they deal with the changing environment. This workshop aims to provide coaches with the skills and techniques needed to: Encourage people to “try on” the new situation, see it from a different perspective and identify what could be good about it Enable people to explore their feelings about the transition, give themselves permission to experience those feelings and, crucially, help them to generate the momentum to move on Create a sense of focus so that people know where they are aiming and what they need to do each day to get there Help people build their resilience and accept change as the status quo in organisational life Help people regain a sense of control over the change by focusing on what they can control rather than what they can’t To book on any of these modules please email joanne.scott@nwacademy.nhs.uk.
