TSVFD Department Meeting
JUNE 25, 2007
Station Issues
Station 1
– Small roof leaks developing. 1 in the corner of
the conference room and the other to the right
side of the main entrance door. Warko has been
contacted and will be looking into the problem.
– Warko will also be investigating the issue with
water running down the wall into the camera at
the rear entrance.
– Looking into the installation of electric ice
melting cord to prevent ice from dropping off the
front of the building.
Station Issues
Station 1
– Danny Geer’s brother will be coming to look at
the damage to the cement curbing on the east
side of the engine pad & also the pavement
walkway at the exit door on the west side of the
building.
– Magnetic white board project is in progress.
Thank You to Lisa Ragonese for completing the
name tags. The decals are being completed by
Brown’s. Names will be placed in Platoons.
When attending training or meetings be sure to
put your name in the attendance area. The OIC
will designate you to a piece of apparatus.
Station Issues
Station 2
– Danny Geer’s brother will also be looking into
the work required to install the air conditioner
and place a bid.
Station Issues
Pole Barn Status
– The pole barn issue is not dead yet. Our next
move is to go seek bids to see what prices
would be for prevailing wages. There is a
possibility of scaling down the size of the
building to fit our budget.
– As a temporary resolve, Danny Geer, head
trustee at the West Wyomissing Fire Company,
was contacted about the possibility of renting the
east side bays. He states that they have plans
for that side of the engine room and would
contact us if there were any changes.
Operations
Insurance Reimbursement Program
– At the present time this program is at a stand
still. Capt. Gould has contacted an outfit in
Texas to provide these services.
Fire Hydrant Adapters
– The fire hydrant adapters have been ordered.
Unfortunately the company manufacturing the
adapters put the wrong fittings on the caps. This
mistake will push the delivery time back about 2
weeks.
** I would like to make the installation of these
caps a department wide project **
Operations
