New Business
 Motion to consider budget requests for PTSA members present for program allocations
 Motion to consider Ms. Jeremenko request for funds for gift cards for administration and staff for teacher appreciation
 Motion to consider Special education request for TV
The CALS program at CMS has a 21" TV that was purchased by the PTA over 12 years ago. Recently the TV stopped working. Since the PTA bought this TV we were wondering if the PTA would be willing to add
a replacement TV to their 2013-2014 budget for the CALS program for $229. We very rarely request anything from the PTA monetarily. Below is the TV we have in mind. It's from HH Gregg.


Motion to consider environmental request for $1,000 for learning outdoor classroom:
From Ms. Willis: I am not sure to whom I need to make this request. We (the environmental club) have been planning on a classroom in the concrete courtyard for about two years. We have
been talking with Elliot Hall, a CMS graduate, on doing the construction for his Eagle Scout Project. It has been a challenge getting the price list from him but he finally came to school with a
proposal Friday, May 3rd. To complete two classrooms in the courtyard, he was requesting $4600. After much discussion with Elliot and his father, Ms. Wallace and I, we all came up with a
more feasible project of construction one complete outdoor classroom, rather than benches for two. Elliot will be re-pricing everything and resubmitting a proposal. We would like to ask the
PTSA for $1000 or ½ of what Elliot needs to complete one classroom. He would be responsible for funding the remaining money. He would like to do the construction over the summer to
have it ready for 2013- 2014 school year. Willis, Elizabeth D. <ewillis@bcps.org>;
