Unit Three: Sewing
These are diamond/triangle shaped pattern markings that are printed on the
cutting side of a pattern to indicate where a pattern should match:

Thread your machine with your thread (over, under, over) and then follow the
thread guide through the take-up lever, around the needle hook and through
the eye of the needle and through the presser foot. Then load your bobbin
into the machine by hooking the thread through the bobbin thread guide and
up and around the thread hook. Then once the bobbin case is replaced, turn
the handwheel towards you to bring up the thread from the bobbin up and
through.

familiar with sewing vocabulary such as stitch, baste, press, etc.
Please be sure you are familiar with the terms yield and perishable as well.
A yield is located in a recipe and tells the cook how many servings that specific
recipe will make.
Perishable food items are food items that will spoil quickly whereas nonperishable food items will not. For example, food drives often ask for NONperishable food items because they want foods that will store and keep for a
long period of time. An example would be canned beans or dried pasta noodles
in a box.
