EASTER CANDY DONATIONS NEEDED Each year the Children’s Department has an Easter Egg Hunt for all the children at the church and in the community. Wrapped Easter candy and plastic eggs are needed for 200 children. Donations are welcome and appreciated. Please drop them off in the K.R.U. children’s building bucket by Palm Sunday, March 24. STORYLINE: FINDING YOUR SUBPLOT IN GOD’S STORY Storyline is a way of organizing and understanding your life using the elements of story. When you know your story, you’ll better understand your purpose and will live with greater efficiency and impact. Beginning April 15th, the Monday Evening Women’s Bible Study will be meeting at San Diego First Church in Bowes from6:30p-8:30p, and working through Donald Miller’s Storyline materials under the leadership of Wendy Kessler. ADULT EASTER CHOIR You are invited to join Easter choir. We will be singing on Palm Sunday,March 24, in the combined service, on Good Friday, and on Easter Sunday. HAT (HOMELESS ASSISTANCE TEAM) TRAINING with SAN DIEGO RESCUE MISSION HAT training is a GREAT way for your church to be educated on how to help the homeless in your congregation or that you may come in contact with. The Downtown Fellowship of Churches and Ministries is holding a Homeless Assistance Team (HAT) training on Saturday April 13, 2013 from 9am-2pm. The primary purpose of a HAT team is to be a source of support to a currently homeless person seeking more healthy and sustainable living. HAT teams are volunteers from church communities who are organized and trained to provide support to a homeless person. A HAT team helps provide emotional, spiritual and practical support. This is a great way for your church to receive training about how to truly help a homeless individual.
